Ant-Man and The Wasp trailer was released by Marvel Studios last week. The footage revealed not only the titular characters but also a suprise ally, the Mercedes Sprinter van in current generation guise. The next-gen model will debut tomorrow!
Ant-Man & The Wasp is the highly anticipated sequel to 2015’s Ant-Man, starring Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly and Michael Douglas and directed by Peyton Reed. In the original movie’s mid-credits scene, it was teased that Lilly’s Hope van Dyne would be suiting up for real in the next installment as The Wasp, giving the superhero duo joint billing for the forthcoming sequel.
The first trailer showcases the central trio as they are forced to deal with the consequences of Scott Lang’s actions in Captain America: Civil War, in which he aided the political rebel, Steve Rogers.
The trailer also highlighted the movie’s new car hero, a blue Mercedes Sprinter retro-fitted with all the tech-gear you’d imagine Ant-Man & The Wasp would ever need in their battle with villainous forces, including the ability to shrink at the push of a button.
